But the homeless crisis, specifically in Los Angeles, has gone from a couple of bums on the corner to a full-blown crisis where you can't even open your front door without hitting somebody lying on the ground. Literally. Let’s break it down.

A Los Angeles resident recently posted a video from outside his apartment and storefront, saying he had already called police about a homeless man camped in the doorway. In the video you can see this bum all snuggled up by the door, making it virtually impossible for him to enter, and on top of that, the man in the video claims that police were in no hurry to resolve the situation.

The guy in the video doesn't mince words and calls this entire homeless crisis a result of Los Angeles' failed leadership. He also ties it directly to the June 2nd election, stating that the city needs new leadership.

And honestly, this video does line up eerily well with the LA mayoral race, where homelessness, public safety, police staffing, and basic city management are central issues.

The city and its leaders can point to programs, budgets, legal limits, outreach teams, and other political jargon, but that means nothing to someone trying to enter their own apartment while trash, urine, and needles sit outside their door.
