Jett here. Every so often, a comment pops up claiming CYPHER must be AI because the structure is so tight and the delivery is so consistent. Nah. We're human. Let’s get into it.

CYPHER is flesh-and-blood humans who take this work really seriously. Yes, we use a system-style framework. That's absolutely intentional. It keeps the writing clean, the ideas organized, and the reading experience smooth so you can actually absorb something useful without digging through clutter. When I started this site, I wanted readers to have an experience that felt familiar and predictable, so the main focus stayed on taking in the information, not hunting high and low for it.

Now, we do use AI for grammar checks or occasional artwork. We're not ashamed of that; it's no different than using a freaking spellcheck, editing software, or design tools. But let me be really clear with you: the research, the angles, the titles, and the voice you are reading right now comes from real people sitting at real keyboards putting real time into the work.

But I get it. When content looks sharp and consistent, some people assume it must be automated. Like I said earlier, I just wanted a system that would create discipline for us writers and make things easy to read for you guys.

Truth be told, there aren’t a lot of these “AI” comments, but they pop up now and then. And I guess they get under my skin a bit because I know the work we put into this site and all the late-night digging we go through to find stories you’ll (hopefully) like.

In a cyber world that's flooded with low-effort garbage, I get it; tight structure can start to look a bit suspicious. But good systems and human creativity aren't opposites. They work best together, in my humble opinion.

CYPHER was built to be sharp, readable, and consistent. Grammar tools help polish our work, but the thinking, voice, and curiosity behind this entire dog and pony show are 100 percent human.
