BRIEFING

Grant here. While the left is trying their darndest to turn Renee Good into the next George Floyd, there's another faction rising up saying "not so fast." Let’s break it down.

In a clip making its rounds online, one liberal is arguing that the phrase “say her name” isn't appropriate for Renee Good because that specific slogan is only for black people. Yep. She didn't mince words here...

So, it doesn't look like ol' Renee will be becoming the next liberal icon after all. Or at least, not in the black community.

DEBRIEFING

And this is what really encapsulates the absolute insanity that is the left these days.

They are truly a group with absolutely zero moral compass, and as a result, they desperately cling to whatever "symbol" they can get their hands on.

And these symbols shift constantly. We had Trayvon Martin, George Floyd, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Rekia Boyd... I mean, the list goes on and on, but all of these examples fit neatly into the whole "Black Lives Matter" blueprint.

Renee Good, however, does not fit this blueprint. Number one, she's white. Furthermore, her death, as we've seen from multiple sources and multiple cameras, was completely the fault of her trying to run over an ICE agent. There's really no room for interpretation here or story making.

At the end of the day, no matter how much the left tries to paint Good as their new "woke" icon, it won't work. It's like trying to put a square peg into a round hole.

NOW YOU KNOW

If solidarity is selective, it’s just branding.
